Davie County, NC Roofing Contractor
Across the Yadkin River from Forsyth County, Davie County mixes small-town Mocksville with growing communities like Bermuda Run and Advance. We bring free written inspections and family-run roofing to all of it.
A river county with old towns and new neighborhoods

Davie County sits southwest of Forsyth, on the other side of the Yadkin River. Most of it lies between the Yadkin and the South Yadkin rivers. Mocksville is the county seat, Cooleemee is down on the southern end, and Bermuda Run and Advance are on the side closest to Forsyth.
That gives the county two kinds of housing. Mocksville and Cooleemee have plenty of older homes, while Bermuda Run and Advance have newer neighborhoods that keep growing. Farmhouses and outbuildings fill the country in between. The age and repair history of a roof matter more than which part of the county the house is in.
Whatever you have, the visit starts the same way. Jay comes out, inspects the roof himself and leaves you with a written report and a free estimate. There is no pressure to decide on the spot, and if a repair will solve the problem, that is what we recommend.
Services for Davie County homeowners
Here is how each of our services usually comes up in Davie County.
Roof Replacement
Replacement for older Mocksville homes that may need decking work, and for newer houses whose first roof is wearing out. We tear off, check the decking, install underlayment and clean up daily.
Roof Repair
A focused roof repair for leaks, flashing, pipe boots and storm-lifted shingles, so a small problem does not grow into a bigger one.
Gutters
Gutter installation and replacement, often paired with a new roof, to keep water off the fascia and away from the foundation.
Siding
Siding installation and replacement where older siding is worn out or storm-damaged. Vinyl is a common choice, and we cover material options at the estimate.

Roofing considerations around Davie County
Shady lots, growing neighborhoods and older houses each affect how a roof holds up.
Shade and slow-drying roofs
Homes on wooded lots near the rivers and creeks can stay shaded much of the day. A roof that dries slowly grows moss and algae streaks, which hold moisture against the shingles.
Newer neighborhoods, first roofs
Homes in growing areas like Bermuda Run and Advance are often on their original roof. Granules collecting in the gutters and shingles that lift in strong wind are early signs of wear.
Older homes with past repairs
Older houses in Mocksville and Cooleemee may have patches, mixed materials or more than one layer of shingles. A roof replacement with a full tear-off lets us see and fix the decking underneath.
Tropical remnants in late summer and fall
When the remains of a tropical system move through, days of heavy rain and gusty wind will find any weak flashing or pipe boot. Fixing small problems before that season helps.
How a job with us works
From the free inspection to the last walkthrough, every Davie County project follows the same six steps.
Step 1You call or send the form
Tell us what you're seeing: a ceiling stain, shingles in the yard, a gutter pulling away, siding that's cracked or loose. We follow up quickly to set a time to come out.
Step 2Free on-site inspection
Jay or a lead looks at the roof and the exterior in person, checking shingles, flashing, vents, decking, gutters and siding, and notes what they find.
Step 3Written report and estimate
You get what we found and what it costs, in writing, before any commitment. When a repair will do, we say so. Estimates are often ready the same day, though not always.
Step 4You decide, then we schedule
Take the time you need, compare quotes, ask about payment options. When you say yes, we book the crew and order materials for your home.
Step 5The work, with daily cleanup
The crew does the job and cleans up as it goes. Nails, scrap and old materials leave with us in our trailer.
Step 6Final walkthrough
We walk the finished work and the yard with you and answer every question before we call it done.
Davie County roofing questions, answered
Do you serve Bermuda Run and Advance?
Yes, along with Mocksville, Cooleemee and the rest of Davie County. They are part of the regular area we serve from King.
My house is fairly new. Why would the roof leak?
Even newer roofs can leak at pipe boots, flashing or valleys, especially if something was rushed during construction. Wind can also lift shingles that never sealed down well. Jay will find the source and tell you whether it is a simple fix.
Do you replace rotten decking?
Yes. During a replacement we check the decking once the old roof is off and replace rotten sections where needed. We will talk you through how that is handled when we go over your estimate.
What should I check after the remnants of a hurricane pass through?
Look for missing or lifted shingles, limbs or debris on the roof, overflowing gutters and new stains on ceilings. If you see damage, call your insurer and call us for a free inspection. Our written report with photos can help with the claim.
Can you replace gutters without replacing the roof?
Yes. Gutter installation and replacement can be done on its own, though many homeowners pair it with a roof job. Our gutters page has the details.
